Life Down Wattle Lane v2 - Floating Gate

Hopefully this is enough to deter the sheep from crossing over to the neighboring property.

Our neighbors are subdividing their property and have put in a new drive and bridge crossing the creek adjacent to our property.  They have really tidied up the place and it's looking great.

However I needed to do something to stop the sheep from using the new thoroughfare to the neighbours.

Basically I have put my gate making skills to good use making the lightest gate possible that is strung up with wire and chains.

The idea is that when the creek is in a low flow situation, the gate just hangs there. But when the creek is in full flow the gate will swing and float up with the current. The gate can only swing one way, due to stones placed behind the gate up stream... but all is to be tested both by sheep and a flood.

All in all it looks good to me.
